1. USE IT WITH - rotary electric portable drills, drill presses or hand braces. Do not use in hammer-type percussion drills. 2. SPEED - For best results use heavy-duty, slow speed electric drills with 400 to 750 RPM. For extremely hard materials, slower speeds, from 100 to 200 RPM, will give better results. 3. PRESSURE - For best results use sufficient pressure to keep drill cutting at all times. 4. LUBRICATION - Although dry drilling produces excellent results, a lubricant sometimes helps on very hard materials such as glazed tile, porcelain, marble, etc. Turpentine, kerosene or water may be used as lubricants, and enough should be applied to keep the entire drill point wet. 5. HOW TO SHARPEN - These drills can be sharpened on any tool grinder, although silicon wheels are recommended. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND CARE OF CARBIDE-TIPPED ROTARY MASONRY DRILLS When sharpening, use moderate pressure, and keep drill continually moving across the wheel. Use the same angles as for steel drills, and keep the drill dry at all times during sharpening. F: 1-888-252-6380 service@spaenaur.com © 2018 Spaenaur Inc. All rights reserved.
