TORX ® DRIVE SYSTEM

TORX SCREWDRIVERS with Plastic Handle Sizes available individually or in a set.

The Torx Drive System is a 6-point fastening system which maximizes the driving surface for longer drive life, while maximizing torque, reducing slippage, and minimizing worker fatigue. Sometimes called the “Star” fastener, because of its likeness to the shape of a star, this fastening system is used on most late-model cars. Several often replaced vehicle parts, such as headlights, tail-lights, turning signal lights, and exterior trim areas, will utilize the Torx System. Appliances, television sets, washers, dryers, toasters, and vacuum cleaners will also utilize the Torx System.

TORX ® TAMPER-RESISTANT BITS and DRIVERS for Recessed Tamper-Resistant Screws The tamper-resistant TORX drive has a post in the centre of its recess which requires a specially mated driver to remove the fastener. Unauthorized removal is prevented.
