Comescompletewithwashersandnuts . Red Head’s Wedge Anchor is easy to use. Anchor bolt, carbide bit and hole size are all the same. Heavy-duty and versatile, the Wedge Anchor is non- bottom bearing, so precise hole depth or clean-out is not always required. A one-piecestainlesssteel expandingclip assures full expansion for rugged, de- pendable holding strength. APPLICATIONS: Structural applicationsof all types. Ideal for fastening electrical, heating, venti- lating, air conditioning and plumbing systems to concrete. Other applica- tions include tilt-up construction, pipe hanging, in-plantmachinerymountings, storage racks, warehouse equipment, highway rails, posts and guard appara- tus. Numerous distinct applications for stainless steel models. VARIATIONS: Zinc-plated Carbon Steel - Standard anchor for all structural, in-plant and highway uses indicated in the Applica- tions section. Zinc-plated in accor- dance with Federal specifications QQ- Z-325C, Type II, Class 3. 304 Stainless Steel - For protection in humid, highly corrosive and acidic en- vironments. Used extensively in archi- tecture to mount aluminum and stain- less steel window frames and curtain walls. * Ultimate load capacity in 4,000 PSI stone aggregate concrete. Ultimate pullout and shear loads are indicated for the depth of embedment in concrete shown in the “Minimum Embedment” column. Safe working loads for single installations under static loading should not exceed 25% of the ultimate load capacity. For extreme low temperature applications, use stainless steel anchors.
