INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. Insert Standoff through hole in sheet into anvil. 2. Apply only sufficient squeezing force be - tween parallel surfaces of punch and anvil to embed hex head flush in sheet. Avoid excessive pressures.

Use any hydraulic or mechanical press (not scissor action). Squeezing action embeds hexagonal head into ductile metal panel for high torque resistance. Displaced metal flows smoothly into undercut, to lock standoff securely into panel, flush with one surface.
