Locking sleeves enable barbed fittings to be used in to 100% of the rated burst pressure of the flexible plastic tubing. To use, simply slide appropriate sleeve over suggested O.D. tubing. Insert miniature barbed fitting into tubing, slide sleeve back over barb, locking soft tubing onto the self sealing barb. Locking sleeves are rec ommended for thin wall flexible vinyl (PVC) tubing and other very soft grades tubing with little elastic memory.
