Heavy-duty expansion shield fitted with locking lug on both nut and collar. Load is distributed full-length of side casting, thus increasing holding power of all materials. Recommended for shear loads, or where bolt is subject to side pressure or vibration.

Double Installation

A deep setting helps to increase holding power of masonry. If desired, place a pipe sleeve be tween Double Shield and fixture to be at tached.

Drill hole of recom mended diameter (slightly deeper than length of Double Shield). Insert Double Shield into hole (nut end first).

Double Shield should be flush, or slightly below surface of masonry. Place fixture, insert ma chine bolt, and tighten.
